del Risorgimento, a lively square right next to the renaissance
walls of the Vatican, and circa 4 blocks away from St. Peter's
basilica.
Located on the last floor of a 5-story early 20th-century building
w/ elevator, this vacation rental is circa 700 sq.ft., comprised of
one bedroom, one livingroom, dining area, a large, fully equipped eat-in
kitchen and large bathroom.
The bedroom has one queen-size bed and is separated from the livingroom
by sliding doors. The livingroom has one double sofabed, a dining area
and glass doors that open onto a small balcony where you can see a magnificent
view of the cupola of St. Peter's basilica, as well as the Vatican buildings.
Windows in the bedroom and kitchen also offer pleasant views and lots
of light during the day.
All kitchen and bathroom facilities are new. The kitchen comes with
a breakfast table for four plus a washer, and the bathroom has two sinks,
bidet, tub, and separate shower stall.
Great vacation rental if you're looking for modern amenities and facilities
without sacrificing a taste of Rome's historic splendors.

Location:
Piazza del Risorgimento is a convenient point of departure for enjoying
all that the Eternal City has to offer. Besides being just steps away
from St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums, it's also within
minutes' walk to Castel Sant'Angelo, the imposing castle on the
Tiber built in the 2nd century as a tomb for Emperor Hadrian.
The Piazza also has tram and bus stops with lines that will take you
in a few stops to most points of interest. Here, you can catch a tram
to Villa Borghese, location of the splendid Galleria Borghese
and the National Etruscan Museum. You can also take a bus to Campo dei
Fiori, Piazza Navona and other areas of the historic center. Streets
branching off Piazza del Risorgimento, such as via Cola di Rienzo and
via Ottaviano are a shopper's delight, lined with both young and formal
fashion boutiques and department store. Within the immediate vicinity
of the apartment building are also numerous food shops, as well as an
internet cafe right around the corner.
