Apartment:
The Aquila is a newly renovated (June 2006) luxury 2 bedroom / 3 bathroom apartment located on Vicolo dell'Aquila, which is just 1 block from Piazza Campo dei Fiori and 1 block from Piazza Navona.

It is located on the 3rd floor of a 17th century building without elevator. Approximately 120 sqms / 1350 sqft in all, it comprises a large livingroom, master bedroom with matrimonial bed, a second bedroom with matrimonial bed and single bed. The masterbedroom is equipped with an ensuite bathroom with a large, sunken bathtub, sink, toilet and bidet. A second bathroom is located near the second bedroom with shower, sink, toilet and bidet, and there's a guest bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, bidet and clothes washer.

All bathroom and kitchen facilities are completely new. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove with four burners, large-sized refridgerator and dishwasher.

Floors are covered with parquet wood and the high coffered ceilings have exposed wooden beams.

The entire apartment is very bright and well-ventilated, with windows in every major room.

Windows in the livingroom face the main street, while windows in the bedroom face the sidestreet and courtyard.

Furnishings are a mix of modern and antique, offering both comfort and taste.

Although the apartment is located on the 3rd floor without elevator, the climb is relatively tireless compared to other walkups. Steps are not high, and there are approximately 15 steps per floor.

Location:
Vicolo dell'Aquila is a small side street located off Via dei Baullari, which connects the main avenue Corso Vittorio Emanuele II with Piazza Campo dei Fiori, a popular square with many restaurants, cafes, shops, boutiques, as well as a daily open air food market. This Piazza comes alive during the day with street musicians, local Romans doing their shopping, and people relaxing and taking in the sun at the street-side cafes. At night, it is also a trendy destination for Romans and tourists alike, who gather in this area for the many quality restaurants and wine bars. On the other side of Corso Vittorio is Piazza Navona, another historic attraction with its 3 baroque fountains and cafes.
